China's Law on Food Safety and on Quality and Safety of Agricultural Products stipulate that the use of freshness-preserving agents, preservatives and other substances in the packaging, preservation, storage and transportation of agricultural products must comply with national food safety standards. 。    왕윤재 양주시승마협회장. 이종현기자 ‘한 걸음의 용기가 꿈을 만들고 한 번의 도전이 미래를 바꾼다고 믿습니다.’ 한성승마클럽의 대표이자 양주시승마협회를 이끌고 있는 왕윤재 회장은 청소년들의 꿈을 키워주는 재능기부에 열심이다. 한성승마클럽은 한국마사회가 인정한 경기도 유소년 승마 체험교육의 산실이다. 왕 회장은 클럽을 경기도권에서 가장 많은 학생 승마교실을 운영하고, 학생승마 평가 경기도 1위를 자랑하는 승마장으로 키워냈다. 그는 유소년 때부터 말과 친해지고 승마 국가대표의 꿈을 키워갈 수 있도록 올해 동두천양주교육지원청과 함께 승마 공유학교 운영을 시작했다. 학생들이 배운 것이 실제 경기 경험으로 이어질 수 있도록 훈련 프로그램을 연계하고 훈련마 지원, 시설 제공, 경기 적응훈련, 안전교육, 대회 준비까지 지원하고 있다. 왕 회장은 “승마 꿈나무들이 쉽게 접하기 어려운 승마를 경기공유학교를 통해 부담 없이 체험하고, 자신의 가능성을 발견할 수 있다는 점에서 매우 의미 있다”며 “아이들이 단순한 체험에서 끝나지 않고 스스로 목표를 세워 대회에 도전하는 모습을 보면서 교육의 힘을 다시 한번 느꼈다. 앞으로도 더 많은 아이가 다양한 경험을 통해 성장하고, 미래를 준비할 수 있는 교육환경을 조성할 것”이라고 말했다. 다만 과천경마공원 이전 유치를 추진하고 있는 양주지역의 승마장들이 하나둘씩 문을 닫는 현실에 대해서는 안타까운 심정을 드러냈다. 어렵게 유치했던 체험 프로그램이 예산 부족을 이유로 사라지는 현실도 아쉽다는 입장이다. 이와 관련, 왕 회장은 “말산업을 발전시키려면 저변 확대와 함께 어려서부터 말과 친숙해지는 문화가 필요하고, 진입장벽도 더 낮춰야 한다”며 “그러기 위해서는 양주시와 교육지원청 등이 더 많은 지원에 나서야 한다”고 목소리를 높였다. 이런 가운데 양주시승마협회는 매년 유소년 승마대회를 꾸준히 개최하며 내실을 다지고 있다. 여기엔 승마 저변을 확대하는 동시에 미래를 이끌 유소년 선수 육성에도 힘을 쏟아야 한다는 왕 회장의 의지가 담겼다. 그는 “지역에는 승마를 배우고 싶어도 하지 못하는 유소년들이 많다. 승마가 어려운 것이 아니라 접근하기가 어렵기 때문”이라며 “승마가 우리 주변에서 쉽게 접하고 즐길 수 있는 문화산업으로 거듭나도록 더 열심히 뛰겠다”고 각오를 다졌다.。
